Tsesting the stance of the Bismarck .Slightly with the bow down and right about to smash into a wave but still visible enough at the front.

The small bridge , the  small temple on the island and the small pier all made of plastic , so i can have one or two fishing boats next to it.

This is a commission i got to built the HMS Campanula , K18 late type corvette in a rough seascape setting. The kit is from L'Arsenal in 1/400 and has very nice casting with no flash and all the etch you need.Even though the size of this kit is rather small there is a lot of room for extra detail and especially some fine weathering .

Just for fun, i took a couple of quick shots of HMS Barham next to the pagoda setting. This could  theoretically have some ground if it was an American battleship since they actually got to visit Japan during and after the Japanese surrender. An idea for another dio maybe ..

My cheap Chinese airbrush finally gave up while i was painting the Roma , and started to spit the color.Apparently the head  ruptured and although a tiny rupture , this is the result.I decided i needed to invest to something better this time and bought a Harder&Steenbeck Evolution 2 in 1 .Still a couple of days without any airbrush .A cheaper chinese copy might be also a good idea to have as a back up emergency option.

Q.Elizabeth 1/350 slow progress on the bridge PE and some modifications on the rear superstructure needed to backdated her.

The ships and positions i am considering using after many trials and combinations.Fuso along with 2 cargo ships , plus an oiler and a sub next to it.Also there will be one or two small traditional japanese fishing boats somewere about from the new Lion Roar set, just to add even more to the Japanese theme. The seabase has been painted a darker color to indicate rather deep waters.
