What a colorful site!.Just finished adding most of the vegetation (i wanted a lot).I will have to spray paint it  again as i dont like the color of the natural  material too much . and also i want to add some redish and pink trees around  typical of the Japanese countryside .The sea was painted a first hand of gloss transparent blue mostly to check for areas that i need to go over again  .Smaller details like the bridge connecting the small island and a small kiosk on it with a few trees will follow.Inside the small bay will be the Fuso surround by smaller vessels and maybe if i can squeeze a larger cargo ship , but i want to avoid making the scene too crowded.

The small pagoda castle placed on top of the small cliff.An addition of the last moment was a few extra rocks very close to the shoreline and a small island which will be connected via a small bridge , something to add a bit more interest to the rest of the base.

Not exactly ship modeling related, these are just some of the bases for figures i am trying to produce and sell.The smaller the size the harder it gets to get a nice finish.

The second Warspite i built within a year , this time with the Pontos set finished.

That is the second pagoda i am building but this time in 1/700 for another diorama this time overlooking a small harbor with a few warships resupplying.

The cliff almost finished, although now that i took a closer look at the pictures i found a couple more areas that need a few touch ups still.All in all i think this can become a trend on its own since Fujimi, Doyusha etc have quite a few and in various scales too.
